Decay Devils at UNION STATION in Gary, Indiana

April 2017
Built in 1910, the once bustling Union Train Station in Gary, Indiana has stood abandoned and neglected for almost seven decades. Recently, Decay Devils, a community organization restoring vacant historical buildings in Gary, joined together with volunteers and local artists to clean the station’s grounds of debris. The artists spent hours over Easter weekend painting murals on paneling-sized canvases which were afterward inserted in the building’s lower level windows.
